Riyadh: Istituto Marangoni, in collaboration with the Fashion Commission, is set to open its Riyadh campus in August 2025, offering specialized programs tailored to Saudi Arabia’s fashion and luxury market.
Located at the Riyadh Creative District (RCD) in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the new Higher Training Institute aims to foster creative talent and contribute to the Kingdom’s economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030.
To support aspiring Saudi fashion professionals, Istituto Marangoni will offer 50 scholarships for its three-year Advanced Training Diploma, open to Saudi nationals with a high school certificate. The scholarship program launched on March 17 through a competitive selection process.
Stefania Valenti, Group Managing Director of Istituto Marangoni, expressed gratitude to key stakeholders, stating:"Our mission is to nurture local talent by blending global expertise with Saudi heritage. This initiative will develop a new generation of fashion leaders who can connect with international markets while embracing the vision of Saudi Vision 2030."
Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, emphasized the impact of the collaboration: "This partnership marks a pivotal moment for Saudi fashion. By investing in world-class education, we are empowering the next generation of designers and building a sustainable, thriving fashion ecosystem."
The institute will offer undergraduate programs in areas such as Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Digital Communication, and Fragrances & Cosmetics Management, accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). Additional upskilling and reskilling courses will be available for industry professionals.
To celebrate the partnership, a special Suhoor was held at La Petite Maison in Riyadh, bringing together industry leaders, government officials, and members of the Saudi creative community.
